Overview
Clicks Group is recruiting 46 Shop Assistant / Cashier positions across multiple stores in Gauteng and Mpumalanga. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about customer service and retail to join one of South Africa’s leading health and beauty retailers.
Successful candidates will provide exceptional customer service, operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, maintain merchandising standards, and contribute to creating an outstanding shopping experience while supporting the Clicks brand promise of helping customers “Feel Good and Pay Less.”
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
– Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
– Process customer payments and handle cash safely.
– Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and register new members.
– Inform customers about promotions, specials, and loyalty rewards.
– Maintain merchandising and visual display standards.
– Replenish shelves and assist with stock presentation.
– Ensure the store is clean, organised, and well-maintained.
– Keep up to date with products, promotions, and store events.
– Support the achievement of store sales and customer service targets.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Previous customer service or retail experience will be advantageous.
- Mathematics (50%) and English (50%) at Grade 12 level will be an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Passion for customer service and retail.
- Willingness to work retail trading hours.
