Clicks is currently recruiting 10 Shop Assistant Cashiers for its Mankweng Plaza store in Limpopo.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and assisting customers in a fast-paced retail environment. Successful candidates will help deliver an outstanding shopping experience while supporting store operations, merchandising, and point-of-sale activities.
Overview
The Shop Assistant Cashier will be responsible for serving customers, processing transactions accurately, promoting the Clicks ClubCard programme, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a clean and welcoming shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities
โข Efficiently execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities
โข Scan merchandise accurately and process customer payments
โข Handle cash safely and according to company procedures
โข Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and enroll new members
โข Inform customers about current promotions and special offers
โข Deliver excellent customer service and act as a Clicks brand ambassador
โข Maintain merchandising standards and product displays
โข Ensure general housekeeping duties are completed
โข Support the achievement of store sales and service targets
โข Keep up to date with products, promotions, and store events
โข Assist customers with product information and enquiries
Minimum Requirements
Essential
โข Grade 12 / Matric
โข Basic computer literacy
โข Good communication skills
โข Numeracy skills
โข Strong customer service orientation
Desirable
โข Previous retail or FMCG customer-facing experience
โข Mathematics 50% at Grade 12 level
โข English 50% at Grade 12 level
