Overview
Cell C is looking for a customer-focused and results-driven Sales Consultant to join its team at The Pavilion Mall in Durban. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, customer service, and building lasting customer relationships within the telecommunications industry.
The successful candidate will assist customers with product enquiries, service requests, account management, and sales while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
– Promote and sell Cell C products and services to achieve sales targets.
– Process customer applications, orders, upgrades, and service requests accurately.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
– Resolve customer queries, concerns, and complaints efficiently.
– Maintain accurate customer records and transaction histories.
– Ensure all customer accounts are managed correctly and updated when necessary.
– Assist with stock management and sales order processing.
– Perform daily cash-up procedures and ensure transaction accuracy.
– Prepare and submit required reports and administrative documentation.
– Work closely with internal departments to resolve customer matters.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
– Adhere to health, safety, and workplace compliance requirements.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- NQF Level 5 Certificate or relevant customer service and sales training.
- 6โ24 months experience in sales, retail, customer service, or a related environment.
- Telecommunications or ICT product knowledge will be advantageous.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer literacy and administration skills.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
