Overview
Fidelity Cash Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Teller to join its Worcester branch. This role is ideal for individuals with strong numerical skills who are comfortable working with cash and maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced cash processing environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for counting, verifying, balancing, and processing cash while ensuring strict compliance with company procedures and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Count and verify client cash accurately and efficiently.
– Ensure all cash processing procedures are followed correctly.
– Balance and reconcile cash amounts daily.
– Operate cash counting and verification machines.
– Prepare and pack ATM cash according to operational requirements.
– Identify and report discrepancies during cash processing.
– Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions.
– Follow security procedures and company policies at all times.
– Assist with additional cash centre duties as required.
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cashier, Teller, or in a similar cash-handling role.
- Computer literacy.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
