Location: Saldanha

Department: Electrical Engineering Works

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

-Grade 9 or equivalent.

-At least 6 months of relevant work experience.

-Be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.

-Be safety conscious and reliable.

-Basic English communication skills.

-Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

-Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.

-Ability to perform physically demanding work.

-Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be an added advantage.

Additional requirements for the Saldanha positions include willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and relocate or work away from the designated depot if required.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

• Assist construction and maintenance teams.
• Load and offload construction materials.
• Clean work sites and remove excess materials.
• Stack materials and maintain safe work areas.
• Use hand tools safely.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Carry out duties assigned by Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
