Overview

Eskom is currently recruiting 20 Utilityman Site workers for construction and civil works projects in Mpumalanga and the Western Cape.

These opportunities are ideal for hardworking individuals interested in gaining experience in construction, infrastructure, civil works, and the energy sector.

Successful candidates will assist with manual labour, earthworks, concrete work, shuttering, reinforcing, lifting, carrying materials, and supporting construction teams on-site.

Minimum Requirements

-Ability to perform physically demanding labour tasks

-Willingness to work on construction sites

-Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions

-Construction or civil works experience will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Labour Duties

-Perform manual labour and earthworks duties

-Lift, carry, push, and move materials/equipment

-Assist with concrete, shuttering, reinforcing, and civil works

-Support electrical and site construction teams

-Maintain safe and clean working areas

Safety & Operations

• Follow workplace safety procedures
• Assist supervisors and construction crews
• Support daily construction site activities
• Ensure proper handling of tools and equipment
