Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen by birth

• Must currently be in Matric or have completed Matric

• Must intend studying or currently be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification

• Must be entering 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of study in 2027

• Must study at a recognised and accredited South African tertiary institution

• Must achieve an exemption pass in Matric

• Must achieve a minimum of 70% in all Matric subjects

• Current tertiary students must have an overall average of at least 65%

• Must demonstrate financial need
