Overview
Motus Volkswagen Fourways is offering an exciting Year 1 Apprentice opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry. This apprenticeship provides practical, hands-on training alongside experienced technicians, allowing you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career as an automotive technician.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
– Participate in technical training and skills development programmes.
– Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
– Assist with ordering and managing vehicle parts and workshop inventory.
– Record service activities accurately using workshop management systems.
– Communicate professionally with customers regarding vehicle service requirements.
– Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.

- Passion for motor vehicles and automotive technology.
- Ability to work well in a team.
