Epiroc is inviting applications for its 2026 Apprenticeship Programme, offering 8 apprenticeship opportunities for aspiring artisans. This programme provides a combination of structured classroom learning, practical workplace experience, and mentorship from experienced professionals within Epiroc’s Equipment & Service division.

Available apprenticeship trades include:

  • Millwright (2 Positions)
  • Fitter (2 Positions)
  • Turner Machinist (2 Positions)
  • Tool, Jig and Die Maker (2 Positions)

This is an excellent opportunity for young individuals looking to build a long-term career in engineering and the mining equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities

– Participate in structured apprenticeship training and workplace learning.

– Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and rebuild projects.

– Learn technical procedures under the supervision of qualified artisans.

– Complete practical assignments and theoretical training successfully.

– Maintain accurate records and documentation.

– Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

– Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate).
  • Mathematics (Pure or Technical) and Physical Science.
  • English and at least one additional language.
  • N2 qualification with Fitting Theory and Electrical Theory.
  • Engineering Graphics and Design or Engineering Drawing will be advantageous.
  • Engineering Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical) is beneficial but not required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Exposure to an engineering or workshop environment will be an advantage.
