1. Miner

Location: Steelpoort
Closing Date: 01 July 2026
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3
- Blasting Certificate
- Medically fit
- Minimum 4 years’ mining experience
- Shift Supervisor Certificate will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Operate stoping panels and development ends safely
- Conduct workplace inspections and declarations
- Monitor production targets
- Handle explosives according to regulations
- Complete shift reports
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Assist with Shift Boss responsibilities when required
2. Mine Overseer
Reference Number: SC-3847
Location: North West
Minimum Requirements
- Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency (Mining) or Mine Manager’s Certificate
- Minimum 4 years as a holder of a Blasting Certificate
- At least 6 years’ mining experience
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience
- Mining Degree or Diploma will be advantageous
- Trackless Board and Pillar Mining experience will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Lead underground mining operations
- Manage production and operational planning
- Ensure Mine Health and Safety compliance
- Supervise mining teams
- Manage maintenance and shutdown planning
- Monitor budgets and operational costs
- Recruit, develop and mentor employees
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
3. SHEQ Superintendent โ Occupational Hygiene
Reference Number: ECM SHEQ Superintendent Occupational Hygiene
Location: Steelpoort
Closing Date: 30 June 2026
Minimum Requirements
- Advanced Certificate in Mine Environmental Control
- Relevant Degree or Diploma
- Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa (MVSSA) affiliation
- VentSim knowledge
- Occupational Hygiene qualification will be advantageous
- Management qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience
- At least 2 years’ management experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ventilation and occupational hygiene systems
- Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety legislation
- Develop ventilation standards and policies
- Monitor environmental risks
- Interpret ventilation and occupational hygiene data
- Coordinate monitoring programmes
- Lead ventilation teams and resources
- Support continuous SHEQ improvement initiatives
