Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

–AET Level 4 / Grade 9

-Knowledge of cleaning procedures

-Knowledge of refreshment provision

-Knowledge of safety requirements related to the position

-Knowledge of service delivery programmes

-Knowledge of operating domestic appliances

-Ability to understand and follow instructions

-Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Candidates should be reliable, responsible, honest, polite and able to perform routine tasks.

Duties

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving tea
• Washing up after tea breaks
• Vacuuming and sweeping offices
• Cleaning appliances
• Cleaning toilets and lecture rooms
• Cleaning windows and glass doors
• Mopping floors
• Wiping and dusting walls and surfaces
• Emptying rubbish bins
• Polishing floors
