Overview

Tsebo Solutions Group, through its Fedics division, is recruiting 2 General Assistants to join its Business & Industry (B&I) operations. This opportunity is ideal for hardworking and reliable individuals who are passionate about customer service, food service support, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist with basic food preparation and meal serving.

– Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, dining areas, and service stations.

– Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while following sanitisation procedures.

– Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock using FIFO principles.

– Prepare and clear service areas and meeting rooms.

– Provide friendly and professional service to clients and staff.

– Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

– Support the team with general operational and housekeeping duties.

Entry Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a general assistant role will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.

Skills and Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
