Job Purpose
The successful candidates will assist the Railway Network Construction (RNC) team with maintenance and construction work while performing general labour duties safely and efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
-Minimum Grade 9 qualification.
-At least 0-6 months of relevant work experience.
-Be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
-Be alert, safety-conscious, and reliable.
-Basic English communication skills.
-Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist supervisors and team leaders with daily construction and maintenance activities.
- Load and offload materials.
- Remove weeds and vegetation from work areas.
- Stack construction materials.
- Sweep work areas and maintain cleanliness.
- Remove and dispose of excess materials.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Perform general manual labour as instructed.
