Overview
The Building Company, including BUCO, TimberCity and related divisions, is offering 20 Graduate (FET) Trainee Internship opportunities across various locations nationwide. These programmes are designed to provide unemployed graduates with valuable workplace experience, practical training, and industry exposure within the retail, wholesale, procurement, sales, and stock management sectors.
This opportunity is ideal for young graduates looking to gain hands-on experience and improve their employability through structured workplace learning.
Key Responsibilities
– Participate in structured workplace training and development programmes.
– Gain practical experience within retail and wholesale operations.
– Assist with sales, procurement, stock control, and administrative functions.
– Work alongside experienced professionals and mentors.
– Attend all required training sessions and workplace assessments.
– Support daily business operations as required.
– Maintain professional conduct and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- South African citizen.
- Must be under the age of 35 years.
- N6 Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Procurement
- Buying
- Stock Control
- Sales
- Related Retail Qualifications
- Must not have participated in a W&R SETA Internship, Learnership, or Graduate Programme before.
- Little to no previous work experience.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
