TWK Agri is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Grain Grader at its Rietspruit Bunker in Ermelo. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in agriculture, with hands-on training in grain handling, grading, and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist with grain intake, handling, and dispatch operations
– Support grain grading activities under supervision
– Help with weighbridge operations and maintain accurate records
– Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and pest control standards
– Assist with quality control and food safety procedures
– Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing and data capturing
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and farmers
– Be available for shift work and overtime when required
Requirements & Skills
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 8 Driverโs License
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word and Excel)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in grain environments (dust, heights, confined spaces)
- Willingness to complete a Grain Grader qualification/course
