Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
-Minimum ABET qualification.
-No experience required.
-Ability to communicate verbally in English.
-Basic knowledge of Health and Safety.
-Knowledge of cleaning processes and cleaning aids.
-Ability to operate cleaning machines.
-Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
-Ability to work in a team and independently.
-Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Sweeping, vacuuming and window cleaning.
- Dusting and polishing furniture and floors.
- Cleaning offices, ablution facilities, kitchenettes and utensils.
- Cleaning workshops, vehicles and other facilities.
- Removing waste and keeping work areas clean.
- Reporting defects in the workplace.
- Assisting with training and the use of cleaning equipment where required.
- Some successful applicants may be expected to act as team leaders.
