Salary
R144 024 per annum (Level 2)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
-Grade 10 / Standard 8 / NQF Level 2 qualification
-South African citizenship
-Proficiency in English and at least one other official language
-Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and basic cooking methods
-Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to prepare food, modify meals for standard diets and maintain a clean kitchen
-Be willing to work extended hours when required
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Prepare and serve refreshments
- Organise and maintain hygienic kitchen areas
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas
- Apply food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with general food service duties as required
