Salary
R144 024 per annum (Level 2)
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
-ABET Level 4 / Grade 9 / Standard 7 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 1)
-South African citizenship
-Be proficient in English and at least one other official language
-Basic literacy and numeracy skills
-Knowledge of cleaning equipment, detergents and hygiene practices
-Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
-Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Willingness to work extended hours when required
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Maintain cleanliness of SAPS offices and facilities
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
- Dust offices and furniture
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens and communal areas
- Empty refuse bins and remove waste
- Wash windows where required
- Clean office equipment and utensils
- Load and unload cleaning materials
- Maintain hygiene standards in all assigned areas
