Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

-Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 (NQF Level 4)

-South African citizenship

-Proficiency in English and at least one other official language

-Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

-Good verbal and written communication skills

-Strong administrative, organisational and planning skills

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

-Relevant administrative or secretarial qualifications/experience will be an added advantage for some posts.


Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will perform secretarial and administrative duties, including:

  • Managing diaries and appointments
  • Preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Drafting correspondence, reports and presentations
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops and travel arrangements
  • Maintaining filing and record management systems
  • Handling telephone, email and visitor enquiries
  • Providing administrative support to managers and section heads
  • Operating office equipment and maintaining office records
  • Assisting with procurement, logistics and general office administration
