Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 (NQF Level 4).

-Be proficient in English and at least one other official language.

-Be a South African citizen.

-Good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Office).

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Strong planning, organising and administrative skills.

-Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

-Customer service orientation and responsiveness.

-Ability to work independently and professionally.

-Willingness to work under pressure and extended hours.

Relevant courses related to the post will be an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful applicants will be responsible for:

• Processing and dispatching crime information received through:
  • Crime Stop (08600 10111)
  • Crime Stop Extortion Line (0800 911 011)
  • My SAPS Mobile App
  • Social media platforms
• Following up on pending cases dispatched for investigation.
• Requesting feedback and updating the status of reported cases.
• Managing allocated state resources.
• Compiling daily and monthly reports.
• Providing effective operational support to Crime Stop services.
