Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 (NQF Level 4).

-Be proficient in English and at least one other official language.

-Be a South African citizen.

-Good computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Office).

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Sound planning, organising and administrative skills.

-Good problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

-Customer service orientation.

-Ability to work independently and under pressure.

-Willingness to work extended hours when required.

Advantage: Relevant Human Resource or Administration courses.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on the section, successful applicants will assist with:

  • Recruitment, selection and appointment administration.
  • Processing promotions, transfers and probation matters.
  • Managing absenteeism and temporary incapacity leave.
  • Service termination administration.
  • Employee relations and disciplinary administration.
  • Performance management administration.
  • Occupational injury and illness administration.
  • Organisational development support.
  • Strategic planning and HR reporting.
  • Maintaining correspondence, databases, filing systems and records.
  • General Human Resource administrative support.
