Ayana is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Shop Assistant to join its retail team at Mall of the South. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, have a passion for fashion and retail, and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will assist with daily store operations while helping create a positive shopping experience that drives customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver outstanding customer service to all shoppers.

– Welcome customers and assist them with product selection.

– Promote products and maximize sales opportunities.

– Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and replenished.

– Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

– Assist with stock management and inventory control.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
  • 1โ€“2 years of retail experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages will be advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service orientated with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
