The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development (DLRRD) is inviting applications for an Auxiliary Service Officer vacancy in Polokwane, Limpopo.

This is an excellent opportunity for applicants with a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification who are looking to start a career in the public service, as no previous work experience is required.

Successful candidates will provide administrative support by processing cadastral documents, capturing data, maintaining records, and assisting both internal and external clients.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-Grade 12 (Matric).

No previous experience required.

-Computer literacy.

-Good verbal and written communication skills.

-Good interpersonal skills.

-Good organisational skills.

-Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

  • Basic understanding of maps and cadastral documents.
  • General computer software.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

-Process cadastral documentation for registration.

-Receive and register diagrams, sectional plans and survey records.

-Capture cadastral information into the database.

-Scan and archive cadastral documents.

-Extract and deliver documents requested by staff and members of the public.

-Provide cadastral information to internal and external clients.

-Maintain filing systems and document vaults.

-Correct captured data errors where necessary.

-Conduct random checks on filing and document storage.

-Prepare and file newly approved cadastral documents.
