Overview
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards within court buildings and office facilities.
This includes cleaning offices, courtrooms, kitchens, toilets, passages and other public facilities to ensure a clean and professional working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Building Cleaning
โข Empty dustbins
โข Dust and polish furniture
โข Clean windows and walls
โข Wash floors
โข Vacuum carpets
โข Clean court offices and cells
Toilet Cleaning
โข Deep clean toilets and ablution facilities
โข Refill toilet paper dispensers
โข Refill hand soap dispensers
โข Wash and sanitize floors
Kitchen Cleaning
โข Clean kitchen floors
โข Wash kitchen utensils
โข Assist with tea and coffee arrangements during meetings and events
Safety & General Support
โข Report maintenance defects and faults
โข Alert staff to slippery floors and unsafe conditions
โข Report broken locks and faulty lights
โข Offload and arrange delivered cleaning materials
โข Assist with stock control of cleaning supplies
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
โข Grade 9 / ABET Level 4 or equivalent qualification
Experience
โข No experience required
Skills and Competencies
โข Good interpersonal skills
โข Basic communication skills
โข Basic literacy skills
โข Ability to perform routine cleaning duties
โข Ability to work physically for extended periods
โข Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials
โข Ability to work in environments exposed to cleaning chemicals
