Duties

Road Workers will perform routine road maintenance and/or construction activities, including:

• Construction of culverts and side drains
• Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and gabions
• Construction of road earth and layer works
• Cleaning and maintaining roads, sidewalks and resting areas
• Road surfacing
• Pothole patching
• Reed fencing
• Pipe laying
• Setting road markings and studs
• Installing road signs
• Installing distance markers
• Barricading work areas
• Crushing road material
• Brush clearing
• Grass cutting
