Overview
Crocs Kolonnade is seeking 4 energetic and customer-focused Shop Assistants to join its retail team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service, retail sales, and working with one of the world’s leading footwear brands.
Successful candidates will be responsible for creating exceptional shopping experiences, driving sales, maintaining store standards, and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
– Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
– Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
– Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
– Achieve individual sales targets and maximise sales opportunities.
– Promote additional products and services to increase sales.
– Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Replenish stock from the storeroom daily.
- Assist with receiving, checking, pricing, tagging, and displaying merchandise.
- Process customer orders accurately.
- Ensure stock records and POS entries are accurate.
- Support stock loss prevention and shrinkage control initiatives.
Store Operations
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the store.
- Keep shelves, displays, fitting rooms, and counters clean and organised.
- Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
Merchandising
- Maintain visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines.
- Replenish stock sizes and product displays.
- Assist with window displays and promotional changes.
- Ensure promotional materials are correctly displayed and maintained.
Training & Development
- Participate in all training and development programmes.
- Complete required assessments and learning activities.
- Work closely with team leaders and mentors to improve skills and performance.
- Attend regular performance and development discussions.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
- Retail sales experience will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Crocs products will be beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
