Overview

Empact Group is recruiting 2 Food Services Assistants to join its Food Solutions division in the Western Cape. These positions are ideal for individuals with hospitality experience who are passionate about food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. Successful candidates will assist with food production, front-of-house operations, and general kitchen support.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist with food preparation and food production activities.

– Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

– Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.

– Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.

– Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.

– Assist with serving food and maintaining food service areas.

– Support the kitchen team with general operational duties.

– Ensure work areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and properly maintained.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
• Customer service experience will be an advantage.
• A Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts qualification will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
