Overview
Premier is looking for a dedicated General Worker Bread Packer to join its Production team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will assist with daily production activities, ensuring bread is packed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are committed to producing quality products.
Key Responsibilities
– Pack bread according to production schedules and quality standards.
– Meet daily production targets while maintaining product quality.
– Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
– Maintain excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards.
– Assist with routine maintenance of assigned equipment.
– Complete production records and required documentation accurately.
– Comply with all food safety, health and safety, and company policies.
– Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Production or manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
- 2โ3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with supervisors and team members.

- Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays.

- Rotating day and night shifts.
- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and overtime when necessary.
- Work is performed in a hot manufacturing environment.
