Overview
Brights Hardware is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join the Frontline Department. The role is responsible for managing reception operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Operate the switchboard and manage incoming calls professionally.
– Direct calls to the appropriate departments and take accurate messages.
– Provide general reception and secretarial support.
– Maintain office supplies and manage stationery distribution.
– Record stock orders and email transfers in the log system.
– Manage filing systems for correspondence and documentation.
– Oversee diesel card management and internal schedules.
– Maintain notice boards and assist with administrative updates.
– Handle queries related to pricing, discounts, and credit slips.
– Support stock control processes including stock takes.
– Assist with general administrative tasks as required by management.
Requirements & Skills
-Matric or equivalent qualification (or completed Intercept courses).
-Minimum 2 yearsโ experience in a similar role.
-Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
-Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
-Computer literacy.
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
-Professional appearance and work ethic.
