Salary

R144 024 per annum (Level 02)


Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

-ABET Level 4 / Grade 9 / Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 recognised by SAQA).

-South African citizenship.

-Ability to communicate in English and one other official language.

-Basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

-Ability to read and write.

-Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety procedures.

-Knowledge of handling cleaning materials and detergents.

-Ability to operate basic machinery and equipment.

-Good interpersonal skills.

-Willingness to work extended hours when required.


Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining cleanliness around SAPS Academy premises.
  • Performing general garden maintenance.
  • Removing refuse and waste.
  • Loading and unloading goods.
  • Washing and cleaning state vehicles and equipment.
  • Operating lawn mowers, tractors and gardening machinery.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and hygienic working environment.
  • Assisting with general maintenance duties as required.
