Overview

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is recruiting 7 Dispensary Support employees across Gauteng and the Western Cape. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who want to begin a career in pharmacy by completing the Basic Pharmacist Assistant Learner Programme while gaining valuable practical experience in a busy retail pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist the pharmacy team with daily dispensary operations.

– Participate in the Basic Pharmacist Assistant training programme.

– Prepare and organise medication under supervision.

– Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.

– Assist customers professionally and courteously.

– Ensure the dispensary is clean, organised, and compliant with pharmacy standards.

– Follow all pharmacy policies, health, safety, and regulatory procedures.

Entry Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • Passion for healthcare and pharmacy services.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to complete the Basic Pharmacist Assistant course.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
