Overview

Woolworths is recruiting 9 Customer Assistant positions across multiple stores in South Africa. Opportunities are available in Tills, Foods, Fashion, Beauty & Home, Stockroom Operations, and Replenishment. These positions are ideal for customer-focused individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent service while contributing to an exceptional shopping experience.

Successful candidates will assist customers, maintain store standards, process transactions where applicable, replenish stock, and support daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver friendly and professional customer service.

– Process customer purchases accurately at till points (where applicable).

– Assist customers with product information and store enquiries.

– Promote Woolworths loyalty programmes and store services.

– Replenish shelves and merchandise products.

– Maintain clean, organised, and well-stocked work areas.

– Support promotional campaigns and merchandising activities.

– Ensure pricing accuracy and maintain store presentation standards.

– Assist with stock control and minimise stock losses.

– Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic selling and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable, honest, and professional.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
