Overview
Empact Group is looking for three experienced Cooks to join its Food Solutions division. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering high-quality meals in a professional catering environment.
The successful candidates will assist with daily kitchen production while maintaining excellent food quality, hygiene, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Prepare meals and ingredients for daily kitchen production.
– Ensure high-quality food is prepared and served according to company standards.
– Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
– Support kitchen operations to ensure efficient food service.
– Prepare meals for customers, including special dietary requirements where applicable.
– Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
– Work closely with the kitchen team to meet daily production targets.
– Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a contract catering or similar environment.
- Customer service experience is essential.
- Professional Cookery Certificate will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
