Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
-Grade 10 (NQF Level 3).
–No experience required.
-Basic communication skills.
-Good interpersonal skills.
-Organisational ability.
-Ability to use electrical and hand tools.
-Ability to work independently.
-Willingness to work away from the station for extended periods (camp environment).
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Assist with agricultural infrastructure construction projects.
- Prepare construction sites and handle building materials.
- Plant fence posts and install fencing.
- Maintain construction equipment and hand tools.
- Spray herbicides to control vegetation.
- Cut grass and maintain office grounds.
- Clean workshops, storage facilities and gardens.
- Assist with repairs and emergency breakdowns.
- Load and offload construction materials.
- Maintain stock records and equipment registers.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
