Overview
Curro Barlow Park High School is looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Temporary Part-Time Receptionist to join its team from July 2026. This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills who enjoys working in a busy school environment while providing administrative and front-office support.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome visitors and provide professional front-desk assistance.
– Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
– Take and relay messages accurately and promptly.
– Assist learners, parents, and visitors with enquiries.
– Direct visitors to the appropriate staff members or departments.
– Provide general administrative and clerical support.
– Ensure the reception area remains organised and welcoming.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Experience in a higher education or school environment will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Ability to operate a switchboard.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional language skills will be an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organised, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Clear criminal record.
