@home, part of the TFG Group, is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its YES (Youth Employment Service) Opportunity at Mall of Africa. This 12-month fixed-term programme offers young people valuable retail work experience and an opportunity to build a career in one of South Africa’s leading retail groups.

Location: Mall of Africa, Gauteng

Job Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Closing Date: 30 June 2026

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

-Be between 18 and 28 years old.

-Have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate (preferred).

-Be available to work on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

-Not have been permanently employed by one employer for more than one continuous year.

-Not be studying full-time during the employment period (April 2026 – March 2027).

-Never have participated in the YES Programme before.

-Be responsible for their own accommodation and transport where applicable.

-Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the Employment Equity Act.

What You’ll Do

Successful candidates will gain practical retail experience while:

Assisting customers in-store.
Providing excellent customer service.
Supporting daily store operations.
Merchandising and maintaining store displays.
Processing stock and replenishing shelves.
Working as part of a dynamic retail team.
Learning valuable workplace and customer service skills.
