Overview
Brights Hardware is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join its Housekeeping Department at the Stonewood branch. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for customers and staff while supporting the daily housekeeping operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
– Clean, sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum store and office areas daily.
– Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
– Clean and maintain the staff kitchen.
– Prepare tea for staff members daily.
– Clean windows according to the housekeeping schedule.
– Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues.
– Monitor and request cleaning supplies when needed.
– Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards throughout the workplace.
– Assist with stock takes when required.
– Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
Entry Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Ability to clean efficiently and maintain high hygiene standards.
- Good understanding of housekeeping practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable, flexible, and hardworking.
