Overview
Renault Melrose, part of Motus Corporation, is looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join its team. The successful candidate will manage the reception area, operate the switchboard, welcome visitors, and provide administrative support while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
– Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate department.
– Answer and transfer incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
– Manage the reception area and ensure it remains clean and presentable.
– Receive and distribute documents, parcels, and deliveries.
– Assist customers with enquiries and provide accurate information.
– Perform general reception, switchboard, and administrative duties.
– Record and report work activities where required.
– Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Entry Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
- 1โ2 years’ experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role.
- Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
